The Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PS5 release date has been revealed alongside the Digital Deluxe Edition and Standard Edition versions of the game. Owners of the PlayStation 5 will be able to start pre-ordering this “brand-new, full-length adventure” which promises to leverage the next-gen hardware to deliver some game-changing loading times that greatly enhance gameplay.
When is the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PS5 release date?
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will launch on June 11, 2021.
The game will be a PS5 exclusive, meaning only those with a PlayStation 5 will be able to enjoy Ratchet and Clank’s new adventure. As made evident in gameplay demos, the new Ratchet and Clank game leverages the power of the PS5’s SSD to quickly load between dimensions. This wouldn’t be possible on older PlayStation hardware like the PS4 or PS4 Pro.
What is included in the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Digital Deluxe Edition?
The Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Digital Deluxe Edition includes:
- Carbonox Armor (Early Unlock)
- Pixelizer Weapon (Early Unlock)
- Five Armor Sets
- Photo Mode Sticker Pack
- 20 Raritanium
- Digital Soundtrack
- Digital Art Book
- Full Game
The Standard Edition will cost $69.99 while the Digital Deluxe Edition will cost $79.99. That’s a $10 premium for the above extras. Is it worth it? That’s up to each player to decide!
It’s worth noting that the Carbonox Armor and Pixelizer Weapon will both be unlockable by all players; it’s just that owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition will get those items earlier.
Those planning to pick up Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will have to choose between 60 FPS and 4K. Even the PS5 hardware has its limits!
