Cyberpunk 2077 money glitch

This Cyberpunk 2077 money glitch is incredibly broken

Most of the Cyberpunk 2077 launch bugs haven’t been too well-received, but there is one that players are welcoming with open arms. The Cyberpunk 2077 money glitch lets users earn massive amounts of “eddies” in no time at all, getting rich quick on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. With many of the purchasable items and services in Night City being overly expensive, players are taking full advantage of the exploit while they can.

Farming money quickly in Cyberpunk 2077

Making a living in Night City is hard, which can make purchasing some of the available cars and other items seem almost unattainable. CD Projekt RED may intend for that to be part of the experience, but regardless, frustrated players have found a way around it. There are a couple of different money exploits in Cyberpunk 2077, both of which make earning million fast and simple.

How to do the Cyberpunk 2077 money glitch

  1. Progress to Act 2 of the story
  2. Travel to the Santo Domingo district and complete the “Space Oddity” side job.
  3. Travel to any dropbox and sell the painting you receive from the side job.
  4. Leave the menu before interacting with the dropbox again.
  5. Buy the painting back for just $5.
  6. Repeat the process for a $3995 profit each time.

The Cyberpunk infinite money glitch comes courtesy of TagBackTV, though there is also an alternative via OTRgamerTV.

The alternative money glitch has players killing every enemy during the “I Walk the Line” main mission before reaching the boss, Matilda K. Rose. After downing the boss, save the game (just as a backup) and then kill her to claim a $30,000 bounty. Save in a new slot, then load that same save data file. Players retain the $30,000 bounty and Matilda, having returned to her downed state, can be killed again for another reward.

While helpful for many, these kinds of bugs just go to show that Cyberpunk 2077 could’ve used another delay. As a result of the backlash from customers, CDPR is already offering refunds in an effort to appease disgruntled fans.
