Stupid Rule That Makes You Turn Off Your iPod On A Plane Is No More

Hi there. Have you ever been in the middle of Persona 4 Golden, right when it was getting to a really good part and been asked to turn off your PlayStation Vita by some annoying flight attendant who wields some mystical power as a huge jerk roaming the skies looking for people to be rude to?

Haha, me too. Thankfully, the end is near… for firstworldproblems like that at least. The Federal Aviation Administration has been mulling over whether to remove the rule and now they've officially ended it.

While some airlines might conitnue the practice, "the agency expects many carriers will prove to the FAA that their planes allow passengers to safely use their devices in airplane mode, gate-to-gate, by the end of the year.

Hopefully they don't know that the blinking light on the right side of Nintendo 3DS units mean the wireless funciton is still active. Always-be-street-passing.
