Cyberpunk 2077 has many weapons, clothes, and vehicles, which each come in different varieties. Almost every gun, car, and piece of clothing in the game has several different appearances. This would lead players to think that they could earn different gun skins, clothing dyes, and vehicle paint jobs. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case.
Are there weapon skins in Cyberpunk 2077?
Almost every weapon in Cyberpunk 2077 has several visual variations. These gun skins could be pink, camo, orange, or just standard black metal. Unfortunately, there’s no way for the player to apply these themselves that we’ve discovered. Crafted weapons will always be the default black skin, and there’s no place in the inventory or at any location in the game world where players can apply a skin of their choice.
Weapons skins in Cyberpunk 2077 seem to be tied to faction. So, a player can gun for members of a specific gang or organization and hope they drop the weapon they want.
Can you dye clothes in Cyberpunk 2077?
Unfortunately, it’s the same case with clothes. Players will see many variations on the same piece of clothing worn, but there’s no way to dye them. Players will have to hope that the color and style they want drops from an enemy. Even clothing shops don’t offer a way to choose outfit colors.
Hopefully, CD Projekt Red will add a shader system or at least a way to choose pre-existing clothes variants. As it stands, V often looks cartoonish because there’s no way for players to dye clothing to match.
Can you paint your car in Cyberpunk 2077?
Once again, there’s a wide array of paint jobs for most vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077. However, the player can’t repaint any car or motorcycle. Even the vehicles the player buys are stuck in the default color.
Unfortunately, there’s no vehicle customization in the game. Hopefully, it’ll be added in a future update or DLC, but it’s impossible for now.
