SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless

SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless $49.99 mouse boasts 400 hours of battery life

SteelSeries has simultaneously revealed and launched its new Rival 3 Wireless gaming mouse. At $49.99 it avoids the high price tag pitfall of many other wireless mice on the market, while also boasting a pretty cool party trick: a year-long battery life from just two AAA batteries.

Rated for over 400 hours, the Rival 3 Wireless is pushing the envelope for long battery life in a gaming mouse. SteelSeries attributes the power savings to its new Quantum 2.0 Wireless technology. Though a Bluetooth 5.0 connection is supported, it’s the 2.4 GHz connection that is the true game-changer for players. This budget mouse’s 1000 Hz polling rate and low latency 1ms response time make a big argument for finally ditching the wire.

If weight has you concerned, the ability to remove one of the AAA batteries can shave off 11 grams, leading to a total 95g on the scale.
