Biden 2020 Animal Crossing yard signs are reportedly being launched later today by the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris 2020 presidential campaign. These custom designs will let Animal Crossing: New Horizons voters show their support for the candidates on their island in a rather unique way.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons continues to make use of the “Custom Design” feature that debuted earlier in the franchise. This feature allows people to create and share pixel art which can then be applied to clothing and in-game items. Now, one Presidential campaign is taking advantage of this feature to get voters interested.
As The Verge reports, the Biden/Harris Animal Crossing yard signs are comprised of four designs themed around the Presidential campaign.
Players can then take these designs and create a custom t-shirt or put them on in-game furniture like the Plain Wooden Shop Sign, one of the game’s many craftable items.
You can import these designs into the game by linking Animal Crossing: New Horizons to the Nintendo Switch Online app. You must then scan the QR code for the design you want in the image above and download it by pressing the + button over a custom design slot in the game. You’ll also need a Nintendo Switch Online membership to use this functionality.
