Surviving the post-apocalyptic wasteland in Fallout 76 means staving off hunger and thirst. Curiously, one of the best ways to do that is to chew Bubblegum. Thankfully, these little sticks of flavored delight frequently appear in the wild. If you want to know where to find Bubblegum, we know of a few places to start looking.
Fallout 76 Bubblegum Locations
One of the best places to find Bubblegum in Fallout 76 is at Tyler County Fairgrounds. Look inside the baskets found within the shed around the western side of the area — up to five of them can spawn here. Otherwise, good Bubblegum locations include Morgantown High School, the porch outside Pumpkin House, and the Clarksburg hardware store.
Frankly, Bubblegum is a very common item that spawns in loads of places around Applachia. Anywhere you might have expected to find candy or children before the bombs dropped is likely to have at least one pack of gum laying around. As such, this means locations such as the Fairgrounds, Whitesprings, Camp McClintock, Camden Park, and Morgantown Airport are likely spawn points.
Bubblegum is also found as a guaranteed spawn in perk card packs and Vault-Tech lunchboxes.
Why bother? That’s easy: Bubblegum in Fallout 76 reduces the rate of hunger and thirst for 10 minutes. In addition, several varieties of gum have additional perks: Cola gum reduces rad ingestion by five percent, Grape gum offers +5 Disease resistance, Watermelon gum offers +42 Action Points, and Strawberry gum provides +1 Damage Resistance. All of these additional affects only last for two minutes, but they also coincide with an additional five percent slower hunger and thirst rate.
While it may seem like a silly item, Bubblegum in Fallout 76 can be a big help if you ever find yourself in danger of thirst or starvation. Fortunately, it can be found just about anywhere, so long as you can keep a sharp eye out.
