E3 2020 may be gone for the year, but game developers still want to announce their exciting new developments. EA Play Live 2020 has been announced as a standalone digital event and it’s all set to arrive in June 2020.
Electronic Arts is one of the handful of massive developers who had their own dedicated E3 conference called “EA Play.” The cancellation of E3 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic means that they had to come up with an alternative solution and we’ve just gotten our first glimpse at it today.

EA Play Live will more or less be the same show as previous years with all of the things we’d expect to see: world premieres, new game announcements, game updates, and more. The digital conference will be streamed via EA’s website (and presumably on their social media channels as well).
That’s all we know for now, but we’re sure to hear more details over the next six weeks as we get closer to this digital event. You’ll be able to watch EA Play Live 2020 on June 11, 2020, starting at 7:00 PM Eastern.
