Read on to discover when we think we’ll be playing Crysis on the go thanks to its remastered Switch port. Below, we’ll let you in on when to expect the release date of this classic first-person shooter on Nintendo’s hybrid console.
When is the Crysis Remastered Switch release date?
Unfortunately, without an official word from the developers or publishers, we don’t know when the Crysis Remastered Switch release date will be. All we know is that the game has been leaked and, as of writing, has not been officially confirmed. We’d like to think, however, that the Crysis Remastered release date on Nintendo Switch should be by the end of 2020, likely a Fall 2020 release date. This is because of the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Based on the leak of the remastered Crysis, we know that the game is scheduled to release on the PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Given how the Xbox Series X and PS5 are both meant to be released towards the end of 2020, you’d think the game would be on those platforms too if it were to release next year. While this isn’t confirmed, or a guarantee, it does make us feel like the game should release before the launch of the next-gen consoles.
As per Nintendo Everything’s original report, Crysis Remastered was leaked on the official Crysis website. The image and information regarding the remaster has been removed from the website as of writing. Crysis Remastered is set to bring “new graphic features, high-quality textures, and the CRYENGINE’s native hardware-and API-agnostic ray tracing solution for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and for the very first time Nintendo Switch.” It will be interesting to see how the Switch handles Crysis Remastered, given how technically demanding the game is. still.
