Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat League 8, which is officially titled the Season of Naknadan Greed, is your latest opportunity to prove your worth in the game’s competitive ranked multiplayer mode.

Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat League 8 will be implemented for all players via a free content update and commence on Tuesday, February 18. Season of Naknadan Greed will then run until Tuesday, March 17.

The February 18 — March 17 runtime gives players exactly four weeks to aim for the highest placement possible.

Exact details concerning the Season of Naknadan Greed haven’t yet been revealed by Warner Bros. or NetherRealm, though if it’s anything like prior seasons there’ll be plenty of reason to get involved.
Kombat League matches pair similarly-skilled MK11 players into best two out of three bouts. The aim is to keep winning in order to progress through nine tiered ranks ranging from Apprentice to Elder God, with your placement deciding what rewards you can reap.
There are a variety of short-term Daily Challenges and long-term Season Challenges to help you on your way to upping that rank and laying claim to greater rewards. The likes of exclusive skins, maneuvers, and Kombat Kard elements have been available in the past and a similar stock is likely to be introduced for Kombat League 8.
As far as the “Season of Naknadan Greed” title is concerned, the Naknadan Shrine is an area of the Mortal Kombat 11 Krypt in which players can donate in-game koins to a statue in order to receive randomized rewards. What this could indicate about the mechanics of Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat League 8 remains to be seen.
