They’re a one-time thing, so missing out due to the Fortnite Sorry You Are Visiting Too Frequently error is a serious bummer! Here’s what you need to know about this issue, alongside whether or not there’s a fix.
Is there a Fortnite ‘Sorry, you are visiting our service too frequent’ fix?
As reported by numerous players on social media, including the unofficial Fortnite News account, instead of clapping their eyes on the recent Fortnite x Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker event they were forced to stare at an error message.

It doesn’t read quite right, but the message is still clear and seemingly the only option for those affected is to wait it out. Due to occurring during an organized event, when concurrent player figures are at their peak, it’s possible that the problem stems from overcrowded servers and the repeated login attempts that can go hand-in-hand with that.
The Fortnite “you are visiting our service too frequently” error message can also appear when new players try and fail repeatedly to select a display name. With the popularity of Fortnite meaning many names are already taken, it seems a little harsh to penalize those that don’t quickly happen upon an unclaimed title, but that’s just the nature of Epic Games’ system.
Unfortunately, with a wait being enforced on the “offending” account, the only means of circumventing this error is to use another Fortnite account associated with a different email address. It might be a good idea to make a secondary account to hold in reserve should your main account be affected by this problem in the future.
