Precursor Games' spiritual successor to the GameCube cult-classic Eternal Darkness has failed to reach its funding goal on Kickstarter. That said, the development studio isn't giving up on the project.
After the crowd-funding campaign ended with less than half raised for its $750,000 target, Precursor posted an update, making it clear that they have no intention of giving up on Shadow of the Eternals. "It is unfortunate that we were unable to crowd-fund this project at this time," the post explains, "but we have not given up. We intend to pursue other avenues with the ultimate goal of having our games come to fruition."
Do you think Shadows of the Eternals is something worth pursuing? Does the leadership over at Precursor have you hesitant to shell out cash in support of one of their projects? Let us know what you think about this studio and its ambitions in the comments below.
