The Division 2 Free Weekend

When is The Division 2 Free Weekend?

The Division 2 free weekend is fast approaching. You might not have tried out Ubisoft Massive’s RPG shooter since its March release date, so this is the perfect time to dive in and try it out. You’ll be wanting to know when the release date is this, how long you’ll have to play the trial, and more. If you do, you’ll need to read our guide on The Division 2 free weekend ahead of time. The world isn’t going to save itself, agents, so check this out and then prepare to dive into the fray.

The Division 2 Free Weekend | When can I play for free?

The Division 2 Free Weekend

The Division 2 free weekend isn’t a new thing. There was one available back in June, but this is the first time many new players have to try it out for themselves. With so many new games coming out between now and the end of the year, Ubisoft Massive will try to lure new players in and stick with their game instead of playing their competitors.

The game will be available to play for free starting on Thursday, October 17. At the time of writing, that’s seven days away. If you want to try the game out, you’ll be able to head to Steam, PlayStation Store, or the Xbox One shop to download it for free.

The Division 2 Free Weekend

The game is very large, so you’ll probably have to clear some space on your hard drive to download and install it. Once it’s installed, you’ll have four days to try everything out. That means that The Division 2 free weekend will end on Sunday, October 21.

We’re unsure about the start time for any of these platforms, but we imagine it’ll be around these times:

  • 9 AM PT
  • 12 PM ET
  • 5 PM BST
  • 2 AM AEST (Friday, October 18)

The Division 2 and the Year 1 Pass will also be on sale over the weekend, too. If you play it and like what you see, you can buy it for a reduced price and get all of the available content straight away. Not bad for a free weekend and reduced cost.
