Amazon Pulls Final Fantasy Versus XIII Stock, Fuels Rebranding Rumors

The chronically-delayed Final Fantasy Versus XIII was announced back in 2006 and still has yet to be released. Worse yet, Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura continues to string fans along by refusing to confirm its cancellation.

Now Amazon (via NeoGAF) is no longer stocking the game itself, leading one to believe it has either been canceled, or (as rumors have suggested) is being rebranded as Final Fantasy XV. We know Square Enix will be showing off a new Final Fantasy title in some capacity at this year's E3, so there's reason to hope that it may very well be related to Versus XIII in some way, shape, or form.

Do you think Versus XIII is effectively dead or has become Final Fantasy XV? Let us know by sharing your thoughts in the comments below.
