Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Time Trial times

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Time Trial times | N. Tropy and Oxide Times

The Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Time Trial times are weirdly hidden from the player. You need to first do a dry Time Trial run to see N. Tropy’s time and then you need to beat N. Tropy to see Oxide’s time. But we’ve skipped those steps and compiled a list of the N. Tropy and Oxide Time Trial times you need to beat. Be warned that these CTR Time Trials are different from the PS1 game.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Time Trial tips

These CTR Time Trials are no joke even to those who have are well-versed in the PS1 original. N. Tropy and Oxide will power slide like there’s no tomorrow and take almost every shortcut to ensure their times are hard to beat.

While it isn’t that cut and dried, you can do a few things to improve your times. You should take shortcuts whenever you can. It also helps to watch Oxide and N. Tropy to see what path they take.

You should power slide boost as much as possible. Perfect power slide boosting the best and you can do that by hitting the opposite shoulder button when the meter is just about the hit the end. It’s that last little section on the boost meter on the bottom ride.

Pay attention to what racer you’re using too. Some characters are faster but have worse handling like Tiny, Dingodile, Papu Papu, and so on. Their stats are on the character selections screen and if one character isn’t working, try switching to another “class.” Sometimes tracks call for Penta Penguin and some might require the ol’ Bandicoot himself. They all have different acceleration, handling, and speed so pick what works.
