SEGA’s E3 Nintendo Surprises Outed Early

I'm a big fan of Nintendo Power. I was raised on the official North American Nintendo mag. Nothing like a console-specific magazine to keep you entangled in the rhetoric of fanboyism. While I still have fond memories of NP, I've moved beyond it.

That's why I missed out on the Nintendo scoops within: SEGA is bringing Sonic Generations and Shinobi to the Nintendo 3DS.

Sonic Generations has the cover and confirms the game is coming to Nintendo's handheld, confirming a recent financial report by SEGA. Shinobi on the 3DS? It can't hurt. I'd certainly spend some time with the ol' ninja bastard (and I'm not talking about Nick Tan). What we don't yet know is whether this is a 2D game with some fancy 3D effects or a transfer of Shinobi from the PlayStation 2 (oooh baby, I loved that game.)

What does all of this mean? MORE E3 HYPE. Game Revolution will be there with the latest of everything so keep it locked to our E3 2011 tag page for the hottest news leading into and throughout the big show.
