Netflix Los Angeles is reportedly currently in lockdown due to an active shooter situation. LAPD Hollywood Divison has confirmed that no shots have been fired as of yet and no person is injured. Early reports indicate the suspect is somewhere on the roof of the building with a firearm and no one is permitted to enter or leave the complex.

Netflix employees have taken to social networks to share videos of the ongoing incident. One such video shows a police barricade outside with heavily armed officials guarding an entrance to the complex.

Update: Los Angeles police have updated the situation, reporting that the suspect has been apprehended but the weapon has not yet been recovered. No casualties or injuries reported as the lockdown on the offices has been lifted with employees being informed by police that they are in no immediate danger.
Netflix has also released a statement to employees which reads, “We received a tip about a potential law enforcement incident. Police are conducting a sweep of the lot out of an abundance of caution. There is no immediate danger or threat to our employees. Feel free to share this information with your loved ones.”
Those close to the situation have reported that employees may have been evacuated to a location across the street from the offices.
