We were all hoping to see (or at the very least hear) something about The Last Guardian during Sony's PlayStation Meeting. Sadly, the little boy and his giant beast friend were nowhere to be seen.
Sony Worldwide Studios head Shuhei Yoshida was questioned about the game's status during a roundtable discussion, but he didn't have too much to share. “I’m not ready to talk about it. Sorry. Because we’ve broken promises, we are waiting for the right time to reintroduce The Last Guardian,” he said. Perhaps Sony is saving it for E3?
Yoshida was also asked about the status of the chronically-delayed Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Agent. Unsurprisingly, he remained tight-lipped on both projects. “You are asking the wrong person. I have some knowledge, but I’m not in a position to talk about it,” Yoshida added.
Hopefully, we'll have more news on all of these projects in the near future, though, I wouldn't hold my breath.
