Treyarch has announced that Black Ops 4 mastery camos Blackout and Zombies support is coming after hearing calls from fans for their inclusion. So, when is the Black Ops 4 mastery camo Blackout and Zombies release date for these weapon skins?
Black Ops 4 mastery camos Blackout and Zombies – What are mastery camos?
Mastery camos are special weapon skins that players can unlock once they have fully mastered a gun’s specific challenges. It means you have to grind your way through various weapons to finally unlock these mastery camos, but it’s worth it if you want to give your guns a unique look.
There are three types of skins – gold, diamond, and dark matter. Gold is unlocked after you get every other weapon skin available for a specific weapon. Diamond, meanwhile, is attained after you’ve got the gold skin for every gun in a specific weapon category. For example, you’ll need to have a gold skin for each sniper rifle in Black Ops 4 to get the diamond skin for any of them.
Finally, dark matter is unlocked after you complete every challenge for every weapon and, therefore, have all the skins in the game.

Right now mastery camos can only be equipped to your weapons in Black Ops 4‘s Multiplayer mode. Game types such as deathmatch allow you to customise your guns this way, but you can’t in Blackout or Zombies just yet.
Players have been calling for their introduction in these two modes for the past two months, so when is the release date for mastery camos in Blackout and Zombies?
