The developer/publisher confirmed that the beta for the first-person shooter action RPG game will arrive for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in the fourth quarter of 2019. Actual release dates and more will be revealed in the second quarter of 2019.
According to the official website, gamers who pre-order the PC version of the game can look forward to guaranteed access to the Atomic Heart beta when it eventually launches. Atomic Heart pre-order details have also been revealed, and there are currently three editions of the game available for pre-order. The cheapest version is the Digital Deluxe Edition, with a 50 percent discount for those who pre-order. This edition will come with the full game, digital soundtrack, behind the scenes video, and digital art book.
A more expensive version is the Deluxe Founder’s Edition, which comes with everything from the Digital Deluxe Edition and additional Founder’s Bonuses. These bonuses include a Founder’s badge in the player’s in-game profile and a unique in-game Founder’s mask. The most expensive version of Atomic Heart is the Atomic Founder’s Edition, featuring everything from both of the cheaper editions and more. Pre-ordering the Atomic Founder’s Edition will also give games the opportunity to have their name and photo featured in the game when it releases.
All editions of the game will grant access to the Atomic Heart beta and one-week early access before the official launch. The upcoming game takes place in an alternate version of the Soviet Union, where a technological revolution sparked by Communism has caused machines to mysteriously turn against their human creators.
