Square Enix Teases Final Fantasy V Coming To iOS

In case you didn't know, Final Fantasy IV releases today on iOS! Before you ask, yes, the price is typical Square Enix—$16.99. However, this isn't the biggest Squenix news of the day.

The biggest mobile Square Enix news comes at the very end of this FFIV trailer, where they announced Final Fantasy V will also be coming to iOS. Of course, they also slapped on there a very generic "and more" at the end of the announcement.

Of course, speculation abounds that this signals a confirmation of a slow trickle of the Final Fantasy series porting to iOS, the question is how far do they go? Through the SNES era and stop at FFVI? Or do they go through the PSone era and port the coveted FFVII (for a whopping $19.99 at least, guaranteed) through FFIX?

That reminds me…I need to pick back up my goal of playing through all of the FF games since I missed the entire NES-PSOne era of FF games. Yeah, yeah, I suck, I know.

Aside from FFVII, which FF game would you be pleased to pay the Square Enix-y price on iOS?
