Fortnite Rocket Countdown TV

Fortnite Switch Countdown TV: Will a Rocket Launch in Fortnite Switch on June 19?

The Fortnite Switch version just released, but a countdown has appeared on TVs in the game which seems to indicate changes are already coming. Players just began noticing the Fortnite TV countdown today, and already the internet is blowing up with theories on what will happen when the countdown reaches zero. Many are speculating that this is the countdown for the giant rocket that appeared at the start of this season. We’ll tell you everything we know about the Fortnite countdown on Switch below.

Fortnite Switch Countdown: What Time Will the Countdown End?

At the time of writing, there are about three days left on the countdown. Whatever is going to happen will happen on June 19. June 19 is a Tuesday, which happens to be when Epic Games releases the weekly update for Fortnite, so we’ll see what’s in store then.

Fortnite Switch Countdown: Will the Rocket Launch When it Hits Zero?

The first thing that comes to mind when you think of dramatic countdowns is probably a bomb detonating or a missile or rocket launching. Seeing as there’s a massive missile that was discovered at the beginning of this season near Snobby Shores, and the latest hidden loading screen features the Visitor launching a rocket, it’s not too far-fetched to think that’s what’s going to happen when the countdown reaches zero.

If you visit the villain’s lair near Snobby Shores, you’ll also see a new hologram has appeared. This hologram features a picture of a rocket, so it’s likely that this will be part the next story arc. Who knows what changes may come to the map in the aftermath of a rocket explosion. Could we see a post-apocalyptic version of the Fortnite map? If so it’d be pretty rad. Maybe we’ll get some Mad Max skins in the near future.
