E3 2018: New Ori and the Will of the Wisps Gameplay Trailer Revealed

Ori and the Will of the Wisps has received a brand new gameplay trailer at the Microsoft E3 2018 press conference. The upcoming Xbox One exclusive was the second game featured during the Xbox One, with it once again being developed by the team behind the first game, Moon Studios.

The trailer was presented by Xbox Head Phil Spencer, who kicked off the press conference by announcing that the event would reveal 50 games, including 18 exclusives unique to the Xbox One. The original Ori and the Blind Forest was critically acclaimed and was hailed as one of the Xbox One’s best console exclusives, so fans of the first game will be hoping for more of the same this time around.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps will see players take control of the titular Ori and Sein, the “light and eyes” of the Forest’s Spirit Tree. It will feature the same Metroidvania-style gameplay of the first game, along with Xbox One X enhanced features such as 4K Ultra HD and HDR visuals. Microsoft is pushing exclusives this E3, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps is yet another one to add to the pile.
