With Nintendo cutting the price of its Wii to $129.99, in anticipation of the Wii U's anticipated release next month, it's only fitting that Microsoft has done the same, with a $50 slash on two holiday bundles available at most retailers.
The first is primed for hardcore gamers, with a bundle that includes a 250GB Xbox 360 Slim with Forza Motorsport 4 and a code for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (which will run better anyway with the full install). Two critically acclaimed titles isn't a bad deal at all.
The second bundle is catered for more casual gamers and kids with a 4GB Xbox 360 Slim, a Kinect, Kinect Adventures, and Kinect Disneyland Adventures. Given that the new console generation is upon us, this bundle is a hard bargain, but it's still on sale for what it's worth.
