The time has come for lucky players to experience the third PUBG map, but to do so will require exclusive access, with a PUBG Savage map key currently being the only current way to play. Closed access to hotly-anticipated games and future builds is never fun for players, as there’s always those eager gamers who miss out. Unfortunately, this is how PUBG Corp. is handling initial access to the new Savage map. The best you can do is be informed on how to get a key and secure access to the trial. Here’s what you need to know.
PUBG Savage Map Key: How to Get One
To get your hands on a PUBG Savage map key, you’ll be needing to pay close attention to the game’s official social media channels and Steam Community page. At the time of this post going live, PUBG Corp. has announced that a limited number of players can secure access to the Savage map Closed Experimental Server by clicking here. (This leads to a specific “Map Beta” page.)
If the above link still works, you’ll be able to link your Steam account. As long as you have PUBG in your library, you’ll be given an access key. If the link doesn’t work, I’m afraid that new players are no longer being gifted keys, and you will have missed out on this occasion. (Don’t fret; see below for next test details!)
The first PUBG Savage map testing phase will run from April 2 to April 5.
PUBG Savage Map Key: Next Test
Fortunately, for those who haven’t yet managed to get access to the PUBG Savage map, PUBG Corp. has already confirmed that a second testing phase is coming up. As soon as the map is in a “better state,” the developers will “run some other, bigger tests.”
