The trailer above is slightly ambiguous about what exactly makes up the Zombies portion of Black Ops II. Is it a campaign? Does the narrative involve the single-player story? Do zombies still explode in a shower of blood when you pop them in the head?
Studio Head Mark Lamia says that Black Ops II Zombies will feature a story-driven campaign, a "massive" open world, and a new mode called Grief.
Grief pits two teams of four against each other and the zombie hordes. The last team standing ultimately wins. It seems like Zombies has grown into about a third of the Black Ops II package, complimenting the branching single-player storyline and the competitive multiplayer.
Obviously there's a lot of variety present in the Call of Duty: Black Ops II package landing on November 13th for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U. Are your dollars already aligned elsewhere or is America getting back to Call of Duty?
