There hasn't been an incredible amount of news coming out of this year's Tokyo Game Conference, but that hasn't prevented Warner Bros. from revealing an April 2013 release date for Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Not only will this projected early Q2 release be for Xbox 360, PS3, and the upcoming Wii U, but it's also a smart decision considering what has been tentatively slated next year in April… pretty much nothing except for Defiance, based of the new TV series.
The first three months of 2013 is already hotly contended, with March 2013 already slotted with Tomb Raider, God of War: Ascension, Soul Sacrifice, and a host of other titles that could well be in March as well like Splinter Cell: Blacklist, The Last of Us, and Star Trek.
Of course, release dates always flip around, but nailing down an April window is a great way for Warner Bros. to say that April is their month and no one else's. And giving itself a little breathing room from whatever March holds is a smart idea.
