Capcom has announced that, beginning February 28, and running up until March 15, players will be able to unlock the Monster Hunter World Aloy armor and weapon. The protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn wears unique gear, and wields a powerful bow. Be like Aloy in the free content drop by taking down a uniquely massive Anjanath.
Monster Hunter World Aloy Armor: How to Unlock Aloy’s Armor and Bow Weapon
The target is an Anjanath, which Capcom believes to be similar to Horizon Zero Dawn’s terrifying Thunderjaw enemy. Unlike other Anjanaths found in the game, the event variant is “at a scale that many players will have never before encountered.” Prepare for normal attacks to miss, as its height is not to be underestimated.
To begin the quest, you’ll want to talk to the Nora Tribe Chief. You’ll then be tasked with taking down the enlarged Anjanath in the Ancient Forest. Complete the mission and you’ll receive the Nora Brave Trophy item, which grants access to crafting the Aloy armor set and Aloy bow weapon.
Monster Hunter World Aloy Armor: Event Quest Requirements
To participate in the Monster Hunter World and Horizon Zero Dawn crossover quest, you’ll need to be Hunter Rank 11 or above. Oh, and you’ll also need to be on PlayStation… I mean, that’s kind of obvious!
To craft the event’s rewards, you may need to complete the quest multiple times for the necessary amount of materials. We’d recommend grabbing some friends and powering through it!
Monster Hunter World Aloy Armor: Palico Watcher Gear
Capcom has confirmed that event quests are on “a rotating schedule, so [players] will have an opportunity to try out the quest at a later date.” If you missed out on the Palico Watcher gear during the game’s launch, don’t fret, as the event will eventually roll around again!
