Peter Molyneux’s Curiosity Has Been Dated and Detailed

Have you been fretting about what Peter Molyneaux is working on since he left Microsoft? Be rest assured that details have surfaced regarding Molyneux's first game with 22 Can. The game, Curiosity, will release on iOS, Android, and the PC on August 22nd.

Curiosity presents a cube made of 60 million other cubes. Players must chip away at the cubes to uncover the core cube's inner mystery, something that Molyneux said was "so valuable and so life-changingly important."

In fact, Molyneux believes that the mystery is so amazing, he thinks it will appear on news reports. "Though, it's not a dead cat, by the way," he clarified.

Curiosity can support up to a million players at once, all chipping away at the block, but only one person will be able to unearth the core mystery. Not surprisingly, the game will support microtransactions for pickaxe purchases. Pickaxes will cost as low as 50 cents and as much as $50,000.00. Yes, you read that correctly. I hope to God that such a pickaxe allows you to get through the cube in one click. And then I hope it says "Sucker!" instead of a cash register ring upon purchase.
