Chrono Bind Is DLC For Final Fantasy XIII, Not A New Chrono Game

I haven't been more excited than when I saw that Square Enix had registered domains for both chronobind.com and chronobind.net. I could have sworn that the master of RPGs had finally woken up from its slumber. Boy was I wrong.

As it turns out, Chrono Bind will be the name of just one of two new card games being added to the beloved Final Fantasy XIII-2, the other being Serendipity Poker. The DLC pack is being released in tomorrow's PlayStation Store update along with some other goodies.

While mini-games are always a nice addition to an RPG, it doesn't come close to being as exciting as a new Chrono game. Now that we're all disappointed we can go back to wishing that Square Enix would make something like they used to. Something with a great story would be a great start, but maybe we're asking for too much. Okay, back to beautiful graphics then.
