Sony Demos Vita’s Free Augmented Reality Suite

On the PlayStation Blog, Sony has posted a video demonstrating two of the three AR games that will be available to download for free as part of the Vita's Augmented Reality Suite.

The first of the two games is Fireworks, which can be played either on a tabletop with the AR cards including in each Vita retail box. Fireworks shoot into the "sky", and you tap them on Vita's screen to set them off and explode them.

The second game is Cliff Diver. The goal here is to make your character, Diver Dan, jump off cliffs and diving boards into the surface below.

The third game in the AR Suite, which isn't shown in the video, will be Table Soccer, which projects a full Soccer game onto a tabletop.

All three titles will be available on February 22nd for free on the PSN. See them in action below:

Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42).
