Total War: Warhammer Hit by One-Month Delay

Total War: Warhammer remains one of the most promising PC games of 2016. Although it has appeared to be on-track for success, SEGA has decided to push the game's launch date back.

Total War: Warhammer's launch date has been moved from April 28th to May 24th, providing Creative Assembly one more month to prepare for launch. The game's release is now firmly situated between the debut of Uncharted 4: Among Thieves and No Man's Sky.

This news comes just days after Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's two week delay, a move that has become increasingly common in the industry as AAA game development has become more complex and challenging.

The good news is that system requirements for the game have been released. They are as follows:

PC Minimum Specifications:

Operating System: Windows 7 64Bit

Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 3.0Ghz

RAM: 3GB*

Hard Drive: 35 GB

Video Card: (DirectX 11) AMD Radeon HD 5770 1024MB | NVIDIA GTS 450 1024MB | Intel HD4000 @720P

*PC integrated graphics chipsets require 4GB ram, e.g. Intel HD series

PC Recommended Specifications:

Total War: Warhammer plans to introduce the Warhammer fantasy universe to Total War's strategic gameplay. The premise has excited many PC gamers, and thus far it has shown a ton of promise.
