Valkyria Chronicles 3 Getting “Budget” Re-releases in Japan

Originally released January 27 in Japan, PSP-exclusive tactical RPG Valkyria Chronicles 3 will get a lower-priced re-launch on November 23. Set to sell for 3,990 yen (about US $50), that doesn't really seem like as much of a "budget" title as Sega is playing it up to be, but I guess it's less than most new games in Japan.

The game will include a handful of new playable episodes for those who have somehow beaten all the ones already in Valkyria Chronicles 3 and the hefty amount of DLC additions that have come along. Seriously, this game is packed to the brim with missions, a heck of a lot of them optional. Just sticking to the main story and doing nothing else, 60 hours might be considered a speed run. For most players, I'd estimate that it ends up doubling that easily.

Valkyria Chronicles 3 does not have an official release date for North America.
