343 Industries has detailed the day one multiplayer playlist for Halo 5: Guardians, offering the first look at what options players will have at release when heading into online multiplayer. Right now there are eight confirmed ways to compete with others online, with a ninth slot dedicated to a weekly playlist voted in by the community. Each playlist has several maps available, all of which will be free to access with no DLC constraints.

Some Halo fans have been disappointed that there is a lack of Assault and Oddball. However, it's been confirmed that playlists will be adjusted over time providing different ways to play.
Warzone is being given a lot of attention, which is to be expected given it's an ambitious addition to the Halo universe. It's worth noting that Big Team Battle will be making a presence with its own playlist during or shortly after launch week. In other words, if you don't see your favorite Halo playlist above, that doesn't mean it won't make the transition to Halo 5: Guardians.
Halo 5: Guardians is just two weeks from release, arriving on October 27th exclusively for Xbox One.
