Warhammer: End Times Brings First-Person Fantasy Action to PS4, Xbox One, and PC

Indie developer Fatshark has announced it's working on a fantasy-based co-op action title set in the Warhammer universe. It's called Warhammer: End Times Vermintide, and is set for release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC during the second half of 2015.

The game will feature both first-person shooting as well as melee combat, where players must work together to fend off an invasion of Skaven.

"Combining gritty combat with cooperative multiplayer action, Vermintide will provide the player with a completely new perspective of the Warhammer Fantasy universe, through the eyes of the heroes they play," Fatshark CEO Martin Wahlund, CEO said. "Staying true to the fantasy lore, with familiar foes and locations, we look forward to winning the hearts of enthusiasts and newcomers with this new take on the Warhammer story."
