Kojima Interested in Open-World Remake of Original MGS

Hideo Kojima, the brilliant game designer responsible for creating the Metal Gear Solid franchise, has expressed interest in seeing a proper remake of the first Metal Gear Solid that launched back on the original PlayStation.

Not only that, but he'd like for it to be open world.

During a media session at the Taipei Game Show, as reported by Famitsu, Mr. Kojima said that while he'd love to see remakes of the earlier Metal Gear games for PlayStation 4, he simply doesn't have the time to dedicate to such a project right now.

He specifically mentioned the original Metal Gear Solid, noting how he'd love to play through a fully open-world take on Shadow Moses. You're not alone there, Kojima!
