Smash Bros. Wii U Update Adds More 8-Player Stages

Nintendo has just released an update that unlocks an additional fifteen stages for 8-player battles in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

The update, dubbed version 1.0.2, is just 316MB in size and adds nine regular stages plus six Final Destination stage variants to the 8-player mix.

Here's a list of the unlocked stages that will now work with eight players:

Regular stages:
  • Mario Circuit (X)
  • Luigi's Mansion
  • Pyrosphere
  • Norfair
  • Lylat Cruise
  • Pokémon Stadium 2
  • Animal Crossing – Town and City
  • Animal Crossing – Smashville
  • Wii Fit Studio 
Final Destination stages:
  • Mario Galaxy
  • Mario Circuit (X)
  • Kirby: The Great Cave Offensive
  • Lylat Cruise
  • Pokémon Stadium 2
  • Animal Crossing – Town and City
