Play Game Boy Color Games on 3DS With This Browser Exploit

Some crafty Nintendo 3DS owner has discovered an exploit that allows you to play Game Boy Color ROMs through the 3DS web browser.

As reported by Nintendo Life, "by utilizing the web browser when suspended from a Game Boy Color Virtual Console game, it's possible to visit a url and load a GBC ROM onto the system, successfully emulating it on the hardware."

It's important to note that this trick only works with Game Boy Color games. Check out the video below for more details.

The latest firmware update for the system's web browser (currently limited to the New Nintendo 3DS) removes this feature. So, you'll need a standard 3DS or 3DS XL to get this trick to work.
