Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation Trailer Frees Up Awards

Ubisoft will be stabbing gamers with double hidden blades this October as Assassin's Creed III: Liberation drops for the PlayStation Vita day and date with Assassin's Creed III on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

While I'm plenty interested in ACIII proper, the Vita has a lot to prove and providing an open-world experience like those found in the Assassin's Creed series is a tall order. Even if the gameplay ends up truncated and diminuitive compared to the console games, there's something in the story for fans.

Aveline is certainly a strong step away from the stoic males we've played as in the series so far. At E3 we discovered that ACIII's Connor would appear in the campaign and that players would also visit Mexico in the game. I'm still scratching my head as to who descended from Aveline and who's in the Animus during Liberation?
