Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Bear Pelt

Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Bear Pelt – How to Find it and What to do With it

Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now, and amongst all the many great things to do are the Legendary Animals you can hunt. One of the most challenging of these animals you can face is the Legendary Bear. But where can you find the Red Dead 2 Legendary Bear pelt, and what do you do with it? We’ve got the answers.

Where to Find the Red Dead Redemption 2 Legendary Bear

You’ll first encounter the Legendary Bharati Grizzly Bear in the quest called “Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego,” which you’ll need to complete before you can go hunting it. This is located in the area called Grizzlies East, which is just north of the O’Creagh’s Run lake. The quest will take you directly to the bear’s hiding spot, so just return there later when you want to take it on. Activate your Eagle Eyes ability (click both sticks at once), find some evidence of the bear, and track that evidence until you find it. At a distance, preferably…

How to Beat the Legendary Bear and Get the Legendary Bear Pelt in Red Dead 2

When the “Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego” quest is over you can choose to hunt the Legendary Bear immediately, but we advise against it if you don’t have the best gear on you. Make sure you have the best weapons, full improved ammo, full Dead Eye, and a range of tonics before you take on the bear, since you’ll need them. A rifle with a scope should be mandatory. Make sure you save beforehand.

Activate Dead Eye and zoom with your rifle. You’ll see the bear’s critical hit spots. Aim for them, and get in as many shots with the rifle and Express Bullets as you can. If it gets close, switch to the repeater and carry on aiming for those critical areas, such as the beast’s head. Unless you’ve been particularly careless, or you arrived without the best gear, you should finish it off fairly quickly.

Head back to the Trapper, and you can get him to craft various items with you from the bear’s pelt. These include Legendary Bear Roper boots, Legendary Bear Coat, and a Legendary Bear Head Hat. Yes, you can wear the Legendary Bear’s head as a hat. Lovely.
