The Fortnite 2.29 update patch notes (9.41) have been detailed by Epic Games. Following the game’s end of season event, which saw two enormous titans fighting one another across the entire map, the developer has released a minor update to fix a few things. It’s unusual for a new Fortnite update to be rolled out on a Monday, so it’s understandable why some players might be googling desperately, trying to find out which of their favorite weapons has been nerfed this time, or if their go-to gadget has been banished to the vault. Thankfully, this new Fortnite patch hasn’t affected game balance. No, it has only implemented a few fixes. Here’s what you need to know about Fortnite 2.29 (9.41), which is rolling out across PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
Fortnite 2.29 Update Patch Notes (9.41)
Unfortunately for those expecting a huge patch to follow the pretty underwhelming 9.40 update, you’re going to be disappointed once again. The Fortnite 2.29 update’s main role is to fix issues in Creative and on iOS.

There are no weapon balance changes, no new limited time modes, and no other content for players to really get excited about. If you’re into Creative, or playing on an iPhone, you should at least have a smoother experience.
Epic Games confirmed what the new 2.29 update does on Twitter:

It’s also worth noting that, as of installing the 2.29 (9.41) update, players may be unable to access their older replays. We’d recommend backing up any cool video clips that you have captured before the update is downloaded and installed.
The next big game update should be the Fortnite 10.0 patch, which will likely welcome in Season 10. Expect to hear more about that update as we move closer to the season’s start.
