The Fortnite 2.30 update patch notes (10.0) will soon be detailed by developer Epic Games. If you’ve already completed the Overtime and Birthday challenges, then you’re no doubt waiting impatiently for the new season of Fortnite. Happily, it’s set to happen very soon, with the expected release date falling on next week. The new Fortnite 10.0 update should add a huge amount of content to the game, as an exciting introduction that will get players to part with their cash for the new Battle Pass. As with all of these major updates, downtime is expected, with PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS players all expected to have to exit the game until the patch has been fully rolled out.
Fortnite 2.30 Update Patch Notes (10.0) | What do we know so far?
Previous end of season events often gave clues as to what the new season would bring, but the big mech vs monster battle that took place at the end of season 9 did little to tease the upcoming themes. The Fortnite 2.30 update (10.0) is expected to change the map in a significant way, introducing a number of new named places, while also potentially destroying or altering existing landmarks.

One clue of what could happen at the beginning of Season 10 is the glowing silver orb located at the center of Loot Lake. Following the epic faceoff between monster and robot, a curious orb was left floating. As the days since the battle have gone by, the orb appears to have become more and more unstable, which could lead to a disaster that triggers the start of season 10.
Dataminers are usually successful in figuring out what Fortnite events are going to happen, but they have failed to unearth any significant clues this time around.
We’ll be keeping this post updated with any new details about the new update. Stay tuned!
