Fortnite Meteors Falling Meteorites

Fortnite Meteors Falling: Will Meteorites Destroy Tilted Towers?

Fortnite meteors are falling, and mark the conclusion of Season 3. The meteorites are far from just being visual though; they’re adding a new dimension to the game as they rain upon the map destroying buildings and killing players unfortunate enough to be in their path. What comes next with the Fortnite meteors is anyone’s guess, but we’ve got some guesses below.

Fortnite Meteors Falling: What Happens Next?

Well, Tilted Towers is still standing in Fortnite, so the theory that it would be destroyed by the Fortnite meteors is looking like it might be wrong. However, as the event continues, it’s possible we may see Tilted Towers come under attack by something else. Also, the meteorites could just be a harbinger of the destruction that the comet might bring as it comes closer and closer to striking the map.

The Season 4 emergency broadcast teaser is pointing towards a superhero theme, and it’s possible that the comet may be what turns people into superheroes, or it might be hiding the force that will become the bad guys of this season. My bet is on supervillains or aliens personally.

We still don’t know what’s going to happen just yet, but whatever it is it will likely occur in the next few days.

A comet just hit my game! What is this guys?! from r/FortNiteBR

Original Article 4/18/18: For weeks now, players have been hypothesizing, researching, data mining, and otherwise theorizing on the potential Fortnite Meteor Event and when will Tilted Towers get destroyed. This supposed event will be both momentous for the game’s lifecycle, but for every game out there.

There aren’t many online games except ones like World of Warcraft that has attempted a feat like this one. For those of you that don’t understand the Fortnite Meteor Event or simply want to know when will Tilted Towers get destroyed, you are in the right place to learn everything you need to know about this crazy event that is certainly incoming.

Fortnite Meteor Event Explained: When Will Tilted Towers Get Destroyed

First and foremost, before we dive deep into the Fortnite Meteor Event and answer the question of when will Tilted Towers get destroyed, let’s break down what we know thus far for anyone who doesn’t know what’s going on. Recently, a small object has appeared in the sky above the Battle Royale map.

Though it could be a manner of things, many players have come to assume that it is a comet or Fortnite Meteor Event that it is heralding. This theory was further supported by data miners who found a meteor in the game’s code recently. Epic Games has consistently been changing and adding to the map, so using a meteor to wipe out a section (RIP Tilted Towers) would be pretty awesome.

The reason that players believe the Fortnite Meteor Event will land on Tilted Towers is because of a recent controller vibration “bug” that we covered. What was thought to be a bug could have actually been clever morse code, letting us know exactly when will Tilted Towers get destroyed.

The morse code was decoded to reveal that the Fortnite Meteor Event and when will Tilted Towers get destroyed are today, Wednesday, April 18th, 2018. However, take that date with a grain of salt as the most recent update for the game was delayed. While we do suspect that the event will really happen, we believe it will be a few more days before we find out. Interestingly enough, Epic Games has been noticeably quiet lately on Twitter which is unusual for the open company.
