  • Triangle Strategy (March 4) — new demo available now, and progress will continue to the main game.
  • Earthbound + Earthbound Beginnings (available now) — no sign of Mother 3, but the first two games are available only through a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
  • Mario Kart 8 Booster Course Pass (March 18) — 48 remixed courses will be available by the end of 2023, suggesting no Mario Kart 9 anytime soon.

lot of the rumors for the event were well off the marks, such as ports of the Batman Arkham games and Destiny 2, and the “leaks” about a new Mario Kart and Fire Emblem didn’t quite meet the reality. Still, an excellent slate of Nintendo Switch games for 2022.
