Halo: MCC Owners Getting ODST Campaign for Free

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has had a rough launch, and that's putting it lightly. Xbox One gamers have struggled to join online matches for quite some time now and the experience still isn't perfect despite the game having been released several weeks ago.

Fortunately, 343 Industries is making it up to gamers by giving early adopters of the game the campaign of Halo 3: ODST completely free of charge and a few extra goodies, including:

  • 1 Month of Xbox Live Gold
  • Exclusive In-Game Nameplate
  • Exclusive In-Game Avatar
  • “Relic” Halo 2: Anniversary Multiplayer Map

It's important to note that you must have played Halo: MCC on or before December 19 in order to get all of this free content.

Do you think this is a sufficient apology for all of the problems The Master Chief Collection has had since launch?
