The Monopoly Go Nocturnal Treasures digging treasure event will begin soon on May 3, 2024 at 6:00 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET. Like the recent Anniversary Treasures mini-game that took place last month, it will feature the Wild Sticker as part of the Grand Prize for finishing the final puzzle grid. In addition to that, you will find the Chubby Cheeks board token as well as the Lunar Sentinel shield skin in the list of milestones. The Lunar Sentinel in particular looks rather cool as it’s a silver-colored shield with the Monopoly logo emblazoned in gold on the front.
You will have a little bit over four days to get through Nocturnal Treasures, since it ends on May 7 at 1:00 PM PT / 4:00 PM ET. We will likely have at least two banners and three tournaments where you can earn the pickaxe tokens you need to dig up the artifacts in each puzzle for the event. As usual, there will be 20 stages for the treasure hunt and you’ll need to use pickaxes on spaces in each grid to extract objects of various sizes, in a similar manner to the Battleship board game. What are the Monopoly Go Nocturnal Treasures milestones and tier rewards?
The following are the Monopoly Go Nocturnal Treasures tier rewards you will receive for completing each of the digging treasure grids. There are 20 levels in total and each one will generally be more difficult than the previous one, with more artifacts or larger artifacts that you’ll need to find beneath the dirt.

The best strategy to get through all 20 stages is to use the process of elimination to remove squares without having to use a pickaxe on them. Also look at the spread of objects that you need to find to see if there are any spaces on the grid that need to have an artifact beneath them. The mini-game is generous with giving you information on the orientation of any objects you find so you’ll be able to figure out where else you need to dig to get them out.
While the majority of the pickaxe tokens can be obtained by completing milestones for tournaments and banners, you will also get a few extra by finishing Quick Win objectives and claiming the free gift boxes from the in-game store. A few of the rewards for Nocturnal Treasures itself will have some bonus pickaxes, and there’s a small chance that Scopely will be kind enough to provide several free links that will include pickaxes too.
