Helldivers 2 Free Weekend: When To Expect the Next Free Trial

Those wondering when the next Helldivers 2 free weekend will be can find all of the latest information in this article. Here’s when to expect the next free trial, which will give PC and PS5 players the chance to try the game out without the need to invest any money.

When is the next Helldivers 2 free weekend?

There is no official news regarding future free weekends in Helldivers 2. However, the game may eventually land on a video game subscription service like PS Plus.

The original Helldivers game also got free weekends and in-game content during said events. All saved progress would also be added to the full game when purchased. However, considering the recent efforts that are going towards this game, the chances for a completely free weekend are pretty low. The sales numbers are also charting high enough for the game to have frequent server overload issues.

A huge surge of free players is probably the last thing they need for the game as it sits in its current stage. However, the game has gathered a dedicated fanbase thanks to the cooperative multiplayer experience.

Arrowhead Games Studio also conducted a technically free weekend where the requirement for PS Plus was removed. However, players still had to purchase the base game to start playing the game.
