Xbox One “Catching Up Quickly” to PS4, Says EA

Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen believes Xbox One is quickly closing the gap between Microsoft's new gaming box and PlayStation 4.

"Clearly, Sony has jumped out to a lead with a great console and I think a great pricing strategy But Microsoft is catching up quickly," Jorgensen explained during a presentation at the 2014 UBS Global Technology Conference (via GameSpot).

"And pricing actions that are taking place, particularly within this Christmas season, driven by Microsoft around reductions plus a lot of bundled software, I think will continue to help pull the consumer into the new consoles," he added.

Do you think the console war between Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will end up being a close battle? Which platform do you think will win the holiday 2014 season?
