Sony Celebrates 20 Years of PlayStation With New Video, Event Next Month

Sony's PlayStation platform turns twenty and Sony Japan has released new video collecting games and fans from throughout the hardware's lifespan.

It's hard to believe PlayStation has been around this long, but we're certainly looking forward to the next 5-10 years of gaming on PlayStation 4. The company's next-generation hardware took off to a riotous start last Fall, though Xbox One seems to have a stronger software lineup in 2014.

Star Citizen is an upcoming space trading and combat simulator video game for Microsoft Windows. Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42). The game will also feature VR support.
