The Monopoly Go Bird Watching event has appeared and the rewards include the coveted pickaxe tokens. Like the Dog Show tournament that just passed, this new event is one of the last opportunities to earn event tokens for the Egyptian Treasures mini-game. You’ll earn event points for this tournament by hitting Railroad spaces as usual, gaining the typical points for heists and shutdowns. Along with the revival of the Creative Accounting main event, this means the number of good spaces has thankfully improved. As the countdown reveals, Bird Watching will no longer be available after November 16, 2023 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. We’re still not sure what the milestones are for the tournament, but it’s possible that it will be exactly the same as the Dog Show event. Either way, we will update this article with any confirmed details on the gifts, especially since these rewards will include the pickaxe tokens many players are still looking for.
If you have already finished the Egyptian Treasures event, these gifts will be replaced with cash. That’s not the best replacement, but it’s better than nothing. Otherwise, this tournament should be high priority for most players.
